We don't normally get blue jays, but this year they've discovered our feeders. They sure are pretty, but loud!

And are they ever seed hogs! Hopefully your feeders won't be taken over as ours are

Beautiful markings on the tail. Lovely shot.

Great capture! They have been known to take over feeders and run the other birds off. They are also mean birds and will rob other birds nest and break their eggs. They are very pretty but, bullies.

I think I've only ever seen one blue jay - this is a wonderful shot, beautiful feathers and I like how he has one eye on you.....!

What a lovely pattern they have across their feathers, I'd never seen that before. Lucky you with all these bird visitors :-)

I always love seeing them at the feeders, surprisingly ours seem afraid of the red winged black birds and the grackles so they aren't bullies at all

Excellent shot! I'm so jealous of the wonderful bird shots everyone else seems to get, as I have yet to get even ONE!

And they are pushy too. I'm behind but I see your are getting some great birds shots. One of these days I must hang up one of my hundred bird feeders!
