Whenever Easter comes around, my daughter and I like to paint eggs and use them as decorations around the house. The eggs in the photo are some of our 'vintage' ones.
@carmel Thank you Carmel. First we prick a hole in the top and bottom of the egg, then blow out its contents - that's the hardest part - rinse it and let it dry for a while. And then it's ready to paint. I usually go for acrylic paints because they are easy to find and come in a wide range of colours. If you store them in an egg-carton you can keep them for years.
So colourful and lovely reflections. We used to do this when I was a kid, and I'd forgotten all about it. But, I think we'll have a go with this next week.
Great idea. My daughter in law made me some covered in sequins in a little basic the first year they were married. 8 years ago. Little does she know I still have them and they have her name on them for when she comes and helps clear out my clutter in many moons time.
