These gloriously sunny daffs border the field where the gatehouse is (previous photo) I thought I'd show it as in the background, you can also see just how winding the road is around here. It's more than a little perilous to turn your head to look at the gatehouse at this point as the road is barely wide enough for two cars.
I like the daffodil nearest to the bottom of the picture, which could be saying, "I'm at the front of the queue, now where's my flippin' ice cream?" They all sort of look like they're patiently lined up waiting for something (or some treat *) to happen.
