This green and pleasant land

I like how Elizabeth Green has now become etched in green,
and I find the simple, mossy cross quite moving in its way.

(sooc)
Great find! Very cool. I haven't seen that on a headstone before.

great shot - and good spot - agree the way the moss has laid itself into the enbossing is really cool - great job Matt

Lovely, well spotted. I was in a raveyard earlier this week and took some of the graves with moss 'embossing' on them. Love them.

Matt, this is great. Love the way the moss is transforming the text.

How nice - there's something very moving about it being flat and returning to the Earth

Still find it endearing that Mrs Greene has got green embracing her stone. :) It's like she has her own chuckle at it all.

I was thinking the same as Bekki. If I was Ms. Greene, I'd think this was pretty funny :)

I love how the grass and the moss have framed and coloured their own parts, as if by agreement.

Very nice....love the grass and moss. And it is a little funny that her name is "Green".
