Nb - Last night I thought the keyboard had survived the coffee spill, but alas today when I tried to use it many of the keys were solidly jammed. However, prising off the keys and cleaning them has helped. An hour later, after rinsing off the keys in a mild detergent, and It's mostly fine now. A couple of the keys stick slightly and I may still have to buy a new keyboard, but it's much better than the disaster it was earlier.
best title ever! sorry for your unfortunate keyboard incident but at least only a few keys still stick, and maybe you can just avoid using those keys :)
Do I even need to ask how you are doing? Seems to me you are tinkering a bit much..if you remove all the keys make sure you have a keyboard photo to follow when you put it all back on. To do a good cleaning I suggest running alcohol, sanitizer and a some cotton swabs. I am a master at keyboard clean up. I have seen things you do not want to know about.
My post-coffee keyboard is a little "rusty" in places but manages still to work.
