I'm quite proud and delighted to say that there are now some fifty six woodcreatures in the tagged 365 collection spanning two complete pages. Who'd have thought that possible at one time! Certainly not me. I had little idea that there were so many curiousities out there or should I say, so many characters out there to be spotted and admired. It's definitely good to know that 'The Woodcreature Society' (I tend to spell woodcreature as one word as it follows the tag format) is alive and well as I conclude my project. I know it's a small achievement, yet it gives me some happiness to think of its growth since its humble beginnings last year when I posted my very first one, "Treebeard's slightly less fearsome brother" http://365project.org/sabresun/365/2011-04-15
This is a very big thank you to all those who have contributed to the gallery and to anyone who embraced the general quirkiness that went along with it.
@sabresun I didn't either for my last shot. Don't sweat it. The shot will find you. Glad to hear you'll be sticking around. But yes, a break is in order!! I would miss your quirky edits and captions far too much if you left us for good:)
This is amazing Matt just like a tree creature out of a book. He is bending over from the waist as if he is bowing !! I hadn't noticed you were nearly finished, glad you are carrying on !!!
I have a feeling that these creatures will not release you from their grasp and you will be compelled by some mysterious force to photograph them... or not? Either way congrats on concluding the year!
Aw, he's reaching down to help his fallen brother. I love this!
I actually had no idea I'd even reached the end of my project, so I treated it like any other day...bummer.
I love the woodcreatures, and though I've yet to spot one, tree watching is still one of my favorite activities to do from a moving car. I need more forest time, I think.

I didn't notice that. I thought it of as just taking a bow, but your interpretation is better I think. As for the final day on the next photo, I wasn't going to make a fuss about it, then I thought it would be a good opportunity to thank everyone individually who's followed me over the year.
Never say never! You will be back and we will keep the Clendonite Woodlandcreature Society going!! Added one just the other day :-P after avoiding near accident to capture it!
