Shore-bird Walkin' (Lesser Yellow Legs)

photo 149
Had fun playing around with the background here. Thought this looked like an artist's painting of a Lesser Yellow Legs. I liked the reflection and the wind blowing his back feathers up a bit. Thank you to all who commented on my osprey pics that got up on the PP. I appreciate everyone who stops by to look at my albums and I appreciate your comments, views and favs.

I really, really like your exposure here. The blown out background emphasizes the bid and awesome reflection. Great shot!

@jolefont Thanks, I probably will use it on a card. That is where most of my shots end up.
@cindyrez @cmc1200 Thanks, this is the first time I've tried putting the exposure way up and I'm pleased with it too.

I'd say this is a very successful experiment! Beautiful image, Myrna. That reflection is awesome.

Exccellent shot. It could definitely be an illustration in a bird book. AND you didn't even have to kill the bird and stuff it like Audobon did.

@melissapike @mjmaven @beamqueen @sabanford @lauriehiggins Thanks bunches for comments and suggestions.
@mjmaven I pushed the exposure thingy way over to the right in iphoto on the computer. Then I played with contrast, shadows, sharpness and a few other things a bit and voila.

Beautiful Myrna. I am puzzled that it appears I was not following you, I felt certain I was. Technical glitch or more likely a symptom of my absent mindedness. +Fav. Beautiful focus and processing.
