Old time seafarers used to tell of a ship's master who was once lost in such a fog off Cape Cod's east shore. The fog was so thick that day that he climbed to the top of his mast and continued climbing right up through the fog until he emerged in sunlight. From here, he could see the shore and sailed to port without mishap. Thanks for stopping in to take a look at my albums. @beachradish just so you know the lingo. ropes on watery vessels are called lines. When I first started sailing I made that mistake a lot and my husband kept correcting me, didn't take me long to get it. I'm so pleased you like the shot. You seem to have such professional looking shots in our albums.
@sailingmusic Good to know! I always like the combined texture of the lines with fluidity of the water and wood of the boats. You grabbed it so perfectly!!
Fav, Myrna - this is so beautiful! Love its simplicity and clean lines - I even like the fog! (but I'll be complaining about it by tomorrow!) Anther week of dreary weather! The yellow inside the boat really makes the boat pop!
