I think that is what this is. But it just hasn't opened up yet. I loved the exterior leaves around the bloom. Thanks for stopping in.

Is this Queen Anne's lace, I have heard of it but never seen it before. Amazing intricate leaf structure!

Myrna, I think it is. . .I just saw one on my walk today, still more balled up than this one!

Very cool looking flower and a beautiful capture. I like Queen Anne's Lace.

I believe you are right about what flower it is. The flower crown is usually larger. Very impressive shot; very clear and detailed. When it comes to frames, I'm usually partial to the simple and restrained, but this works very well.

You know, I didn't notice the frame until @bankmann pointed it out! I think it is a neat frame for this interesting plant about which I know nothing!

Lovely shot, Myrna. I'm with Ruth. Not certain what it is, but it is beautiful and beautifully captured!

I think that Queen Anne's Lace is one of the prettiest "weeds" around. Lovely shot of this early stage bloom!

Our Queen Anne's Lace looks different but this could be another species? Lovely shot and I like the framing.

I love this too. Lovely! This does look like QA lace before it is in bloom to me. Let us know when it opens.... :-)

Really cool shot. I love the ways the leaves are just waiting to catch all the little individual flowers that make a whole. Lovely!
