Snowy owl in the beach dunes - West Dennis Beach, Cape Cod, MA

Finally got to get some shots of this beauty. Farther away than I'd like to have wanted but, still…….
Thanks so much everyone for getting my great blue heron AND my golden-crowned kinglet on the PP at the same time today. Most appreciated. I'm humbled.

Gorgeous bird! Unfortunately they have migrated south and here in Washington DC one was hit by a Metro Bus. Two officers found it and now it is recuperating with the Wildlife folks.
