Carrion Plant Bud by salza

Carrion Plant Bud

Huernia Family - A low growing, creeping succulent that consist of short, stubby stems that are usually five-angled.Flowers are star shaped and usually have a plastic appearance. They have a shiny, smooth, raised ring in the middle (usually maroon in colour). The flowers are usually foul-scented, hence the common name.
I will rephoto and post once the bud has opened!

This is beautiful, love the geometric pattern - somehow I am reminded of Origami

Love the shape of the bud. Interesting to see flowers that are from the other side of the world. Got me thinking about the smell of it.

@louiesphotos wouldn't it be great if one could photo the smell, although I'm not sure I'd be to popular on this one's scent!
