Arctotis acaulis is indigenous to South Africa. It is a compact, perennial ground cover with silver gray foliage. The flowers can be yellow, pink or red. They are in flower from onset of spring throughout summer. They are very hardy and fairly drought resistant.
I noticed this one has a spider on the underside of the petals, which help me to decide which picture to post!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
