Cape White Eye by salza

Cape White Eye

This fellow and his mate came to have a bath in one of the puddles left by the sprinkler in the garden. They are a fairly small, very vocal common resident in our area.

I did it... ACE for another year. You got up close and personal to this bird. Love the white ring around the eye.

@aspada Cool, glad to hear! He was fairly unfazed by me but the dogs did bother him a tad. I decided I need to get to grips with the 70-200mm lens so was just playing around in the garden. My husband reckons I should challenge myself and only use it for a week....

@salza Your husband has a good idea! I use one lens for a few days at least and try to go a week at a time. Your eye gets trained to see your surrounding through the lens and when you change to another different one it is stimulating to readjust your eye once again.
