It does take a while to figure out the whole RAW process... but I'm sure you will love it once you get used to it!
There's lots of info online (that's how I learned...hehe :)) but have fun playing around with it! I think this shot looks super! Well done! =D
I don't know anything about RAW either and I'm not sure my camera can do it- but it seems to be appealing to many photographers on here and I'd probably try to learn it if I ever was able to upgrade my camera. It looks good to me and the composition is eye-catching.
