Ran away to the bush for a few days! This is one of the view points in the Mountain Zebra National Park. One is allowed to get out of your vehicle but to check for lions first. Lions were reintroduced into the park in 2010.

One of the things I really like about 365 is getting to 'travel' all around the world looking at peoples photos - I love that you live somewhere where there are lions living in the wild - I am sooooo jealous.
Aha! So that's where you've been! It's many years since I've been to Mountain Zebra, long before the lions were introduced. I can't help feeling a bit worried for the zebra tho!
@summerfield we did indeed! In fact we stopped and got out there at least 3 or 4 times. The views were just amazing. We had also checked out the lion sightings, they were all quite far from this lookout point.
amazing view! great that the sign is so small. Lions I think are more scared of us than us of them. Awesome capture
