Male Ostrich by salza

Male Ostrich

There are quite a number of Ostrich in the Mountain Zebra National Park. I have always considered them to be rather prehistoric in looks! During breeding session the male get a red beak and also has red on his legs.

I'm slowy catching up with things. I have quite a number of pictures to sort through but hopefull with in the next few days I will have caught up.
I love the close up of these adorable birds!
