@summerfield @bill_fe I have used the glass lid on the gas hob. I put a sheet of black tissue paper between the burners and the lid. The lighting is filtered sunlight from the right, hence the shadow on the left. And that my friends is that! 😊

the description sounds complicated. The shot is totally wonderful. The tissue paper gives it that fabulous cloudy texture, I think.
