This young lone male lion walked by and carried on walking along the road ahead of us for over 1km before disappearing into the bushes. Such a great experience as we were the only car on the road the whole time!

That is an amazing shot- soooooo close you feel as if you could pet him (and then lose a hand!). I take it that when you're in a vehicle it is closed in such a way that they can't get in but you can still shoot photos?
I love the lionesses best but to see any in the wild would be such a thrill
