For my get pushed challenge from Wendy @farmreporter - Your challenge for this week is to use selective focus but have foreground out of focus as opposed to the background.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
It's not that easy, is it? This works best when there is a great distance between foreground and background.
That being said, I really like how you composed this shot and the foreground is out of focus so that did work!
Try this using natural framing so that your subject is a far distance, and your foreground close by. That way there is no possible way that the camera will focus on the foreground.
@farmreporter I have done quite a lot of reading up on selective focus and seeking out examples. Most of what I found were all still life set ups. I will hopefully get a chance to go out and about on the weekend and get some landscape pictures.
