@salza Is Skye a Sheltie? She looks so similar the our 13-14 year old Sheltie, Queenie, whom we lost very recently to congestive heart failure. So difficult! Our little girl was also mostly deaf and blind and was showing some mild signs of canine dementia. We had made the decision, very reluctantly, to have her put down, but she died the night beforehand at home. I hope you are able to enjoy Skye a lot longer! She's a cutie!
@bjywamer no Barb, Skye is an Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix. In January our vet thoroughly examined her and gave her a clean bill of health. She is such a character and understands so many words, not much gets by her. Sorry to hear about your loss. It's never easy having to say goodbye to a fur baby

Sorry ive been a bit slow
Thanks for all your lovely comments on Skye. At 14½ years old she is going deaf and blind plus she has a form of canine dementia. Otherwise she's in good health and is still quite active.
