Swallow

We have a pair of swallows that have built a nest on our porch. We are concered that this is one of the birds from that pair and tht the mate has been lost. This week this lone swallow has come and perched in all their usual spots and is sleeping in the nest at night, alone. It is around this time that the swallows usually migrate northwards.
