that's not her usual toy, is it? there's something about her eyes that i can bear looking at her and not get scared. of course it might be different if i see her face to face. she's got an old gentle soul in her.
@summerfield Vikki, we go through a fair few of these plastic balls as Kaela mouths them and they land up with holes in them. We get them in batches of six and all different colours. Kaela couldn't care which one she has as long as she has one. Skye on the other hand favours a particular one for a few days in a row.
@ericdibosco haha Eric. She murders at least two a month. Thankfully I can buy a bag of 6 from the Crazy Store for around R40. Tried giving her a tennis ball and she murdered that in less than an hour! She has a dreadful habit of mouthing the ball ie she rolls it around in her mouth whilst biting on it. The cheapies from Crazy store are so soft that they tolerate the abuse for a much longer period. She really appreciates your offer of a new ball :-)
@ericdibosco she doesn't normally eat any but on occasion she will rip a piece off. She is quite good about giving it up so seldom does she swallow any!
@salza Mine ( http://365project.org/ericdibosco/365/2014-08-20 ) had, amongst others, a peach pit, which had to be removed by gastroscopy, and my son's Acnetane, for which she underwent induced vomiting the night before we went on holiday! Expensive child, this one!
