Spent some time watching the birds in the garden. This guy was checking out things before dropping to the ground to et some of the meal worms we had put out.

What a difference a country makes! My birds perch on twigs and wood piles, yours on a giant aloe! Mine are brown and gray (well, we do have the Cardinal!) but yours are so bright and colorful! How fun to see the differences and wonder what it would be like to see your feathered friends in person! Both shots of this yellow show-off turned out great!
