Refracted

For my get pushed challenge from April @aecasey - your push is to do a refraction. You don't need a crystal ball .. a glass of water works too .. or a droplet.

Decided to play around a bit with this one! Not sure if the selective colour really works here or not.

@aecasey a different view of the glass of water.

Great shots Sally. I think I prefer this one. Fav

Fantastic Sally! How did you manage to keep the colours only inside the glass??? :)

Very nice use of selective colour ... I like it better than the full colour version, although that is good, too.. Fav.

I love this. Once I used an old milk bottle and erased the color from the field behind it, but it was too many details to really work well. This simple background plays nicer

@summerfield Vikki, I would love to see what you come up with. It is such an easy set up as well.

@frappa77 Francesca it is done using layers, converting one to black and white and then masking out the colour. Need Photoshop or another post processing program that uses layers

s c works very well here - great outcome

You certainly had fun with this challenge! I love the refraction found here and SC really works to high light the colours found in the glass.
