In the early hours of Sunday morning (6th November) a fire broke out in the honeymoon suite of the hotel (building on the right). The thatch roof was on fire and the fire spread to the neighbouring house almost destroying it as well. Although the two properties are all but destroyed no one was badly injured. The people in the honeymoon suite had some smoke inhalation injuries and the house next door was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
