Went out for a horse ride and the mountains looked so stunning. Within half an hour though the mountains were covered in cloud but sadly not a drop of rain! The weather though was dreadfully muggy.

@777margo me too Margo. The rain is really needed in the catchment areas. Cape Town, which is over 100km away but gets it's water from a dam close by is really suffering. They basically only have enough water until May with current water usage despite having extremely severe water restrictions!
that is a great shot Sally, the sky looks almost perfect and the colours on the mountains are muted but compliment the blueof the sky. Sorry you didnt get the rain you need though
