Cape Dutch Homestead by salza

Cape Dutch Homestead

This beautiful Cape Dutch homestead is being renovated and will house an art gallery - it will soon be open to the public. It is a national monument so renovations have to fall within certain parameters.

I really liked the way the clouds seem to be emanating from it.

I fell in love with these homes when we visited South Africa. It brings back lovely memories.
And yes the clouds are interesting. It looks as if you painted them in.

VML the dry stone walls. They are very much a feature in the Isle of Man, my homeland, although not capped like these here.
