Yep, that is a great combination. We have some of that salvia in our garden too, but not the aloes, love that stump.

@golftragic I understand that the salvia grows easily from cuttings and benefits from a harsh pruning. Our gym is in the show grounds and every year they cut the salvia back right down to the ground. It amazes me that within a few weeks it looks like this and within a few months will have more than doubled in size.

@salza Yes, you're right, salvia does grow easily from cuttings and can take harsh pruning. In fact, it seems to thrive on it. Great in a garden, very hard to kill it.
