Not sure what this plant/bloom is. It hadn't quite opened yet, when I shot it a few days ago. I played with it today. Maybe BoB if you have the time.

I've been missing a while due to many reasons. Hopefully camera a in hand a little more. I have just had a look at many of your photos from this month and read bits and pieces. you have had a rough month for different reasons. I hope things are on the up for you. Your photos are amazing - I haven't time to comment individually on each but the birds are so clear and the flowers simply beautiful. I also loved the detailed photo of your friend canoeing. Such a lovely tribute. It's awful seeing a friend or loved one going through such hardships.
