Yesterday we celebrated Christmas. Our boys couldn’t come home on the day due to their work schedules. Sadly, our Josh was in call with the airline and they called! So he couldn’t be with us. It was the first Christmas we were not all together.
We’ve done Christmas crackers every year since we lived in England.

I can relate. Our younger son is going to his girlfriend’s parents house this year. Totally understand and encourage them to “take turns” with each family but still it’s a mental adjustment.
