This is an old oak tree that is up on our terrace. It towers over our outdoor kitchen and koi pond. I love this tree, except this time of year. The what we call ”oak worms ” grow— the oak flowers. During this time it makes an awful mess and covers everything green with pollen.
We have a tree (not oak) that does something similar just outside our front path. Everything gets trodden into the house for several months, starting soon. But you wouldn't want to be without a magnificent tree like this - would you? lovely shot.
