Emmie & Maddie on an awesome swing

Went with my sister Liz, her daughter Meg and Meg's babies twins to see my mom today. We were quite entertained with these two all day.
This swing was made by my mom’s brother Bobby when he was in high school. He died in a private plane crash when he was only 18. He was a pilot but sadly his friend was flying at the time, His friend lived. Bobby did not. I like to think that my son who is a pilot has good genes. I used to sit on this swing and play my guitar for hours when I was a kid.

I am not sure how old it is but my mom is 83! Bobby was her big brother .

Beautiful set of twins. read your column about Bobby. so sad. our grandson made his licence when he was 16. we're glad he changed his mind. he is now 22, needs one more course to become a registered electrician.
