The backyard is a bird frenzy- These little beauties are called pine siskin which is a migratory bird in the finch family. I have never had them before. They were so many fighting for a spot on the feeder...it was fun to watch.
Many thanks for comments on my hawk photos yesterday. I was gone all day today so I don't know if he paid another visit or not.
This is amazing! What are you feeding them that they love so much? I have sunflower, safflower, nuts, and a mix -- and the sparrows are throwing the undesirable things (maybe the millet) out of the mix on to the ground!
That is VERY busy! Clearly they like what's in your feeder. I bought a mix that has something they don't like so my bird shave been flipping some seeds out and going for the sunflower seeds in the mix.
