We’ve been busy today making a bunch of messes. Ross wants his office downstairs- we have always wanted it to be there, but the downstairs front room was the only place that the pool table fit. Ross and Zac took down (apart) the pool table ...it is now scattered in pieces in the great room. Have no idea where it is going! They managed to get just the English oak desk we had made while living in UK down and in place. Much more to do to get the rest of it down. We have painters coming soon to paint the upstairs so it reminds me why I hate moving.... and that my husband is a pack rat ...time to get rid of stuff and purge !
Thanks for kind words about our Jerry. It was quite a shock. The project today kept our mind off things.
Very good leading lines and really does say 'on the move'
I can sympathize, we are getting ready to sell and move the the Pacific Northwest. Getting carpet installed in over 60% of the house while one lives in it isn't any fun. Painting and sorting through, donating as well as everything else just wears me down. Goodwill and I are good friends these days. Taking a pool table apart is nothing short of a huge task, the slate alone must weigh a ton.
