My day is blue today

For years, I've had this fabulous, blue plate, in a bamboo design, handmade of stoneware. As I was taking this photo, a gust of wind took it over our lanai railing. Guess how many pieces it's in now! More than one...

@maggiemae No, unfortunately, this really happened. I haven't had the heart to go into the yard and pick up the pieces. Nor have I figured out how to explain the missing plate from our display cabinet. LOL I mean it's ONLY a plate for heavens sake, but it was rather beautiful.

Ohhhh! I'm so sorry for you! Here's thought though- you could get one of those little garden kits and replace the pebbles in it with the pieces of your plate- although I'm probably too late in posting this idea! Lovely shot though!
