Afternoon Shadows along the Poudre

This is an offshoot that was flowing quietly. I like the shadows and the way the trees arch over the water.

The quiet water looks lovely. I noticed that trees are really bare...does this little river freeze in the hard winter?

@houser934 Some of our leaves are still clinging but most of them have fallen. Different portions of the river freeze, but usually the deep water doesn't.
