Prickly Poppy at Horsetooth Reservoir

We went up to swim at the reservoir this morning and it was so full the beach was covered. We made do with the area above with these Prickly Poppies among other native, wild plants.

Imagine lots of people spent the day in the water - hot all over. Wish we had a beach!
