That’s how I now call him as he seems to have become part of the family. He appears to have settled here. In the morning he comes down to my patio searching for his breakfast at the same time that we are having ours. At mid-day he comes again to have lunch at the same time as we do. Then he comes at late afternoon and stays round till it gets dark. I don’t know where he sleeps. I will miss him when he moves on.
Yesterday he had a nasty experience. My garage is connected with the house through a door into the back patio. It is normal for us to leave this door open as we frequently go in and out of there. Some time in the afternoon, My Robin ventured inside the garage and could not find the way back out. My wife heard fluttering in the garage and saw him struggling to get out of the closed window into the open. She called me quickly and as soon as I opened the window for him he dashed out to liberty. I will now try to keep this door closed – at least, when I’m not there.
Thank you all so very much for looking at my pictures and for your nice comments on yesterday’s.
That is such a cute story! I'v never known anyone that had their very own Robin. And so many adventures with him. Nice collage! I wonder if he will come back again next year!
@ivb@jenrobcarr@ubobohobo@buttercup Thank you very much for your nice comments. I too wish he would stay or at least return next year. Every chance I have I look to see if he's there or not.
