These two fishermen are getting the fishing tackle on board for a day’s fishing. Some tourists watch interestingly as they absorb the warmth of the winter sun, in St Julians Bay. We haven’t had much sunshine this winter which to date has been rainy, cloudy, windy and ……… cold.

What a beautiful little boat. One year my school children did a project on Malta and from looking at your photos, this is one of the few things we got right... the boats. They are colourful in Malta!

I grew up knowing birds, butterflies and all as part of what we did, and have been involved in surveying various wildlife over the years
