When we’re in Gozo it is a must that we go to two particular places. One is the Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary. It is said that the Holy Virgin appeared several times to a woman while she was returning home from her fields through the property of a man called Pinu (you may wish to see my shots #439-443). The second is to Arkadia Shopping Centre. My only interest in this place is to watch the world go by while having a coffee letting the ladies enjoy browsing through the outlets.
On this occasion I decided to take this shot for the perspective leading to the clock up there. I must have made a fool of myself kneeling in front of two escalators as people climbed and descended. When at last I saw both escalators empty I focused and shot but, just my luck, the couple up there started their ascent. Couldn’t try another shot as people continued coming incessantly.
Thank you so very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday’s picture.
Great pov and composition. It's fine to leave it as it is- but if you wanted to remove that person's arm off the railing it would probably not effect the picture on the whole. I don't think you can really tell it's a person- they somewhat blend into the shadows. What we do for a shot on 365!
