SUNNY MALTA

Today, having ended my narrative on the second day of our holiday in Abruzzo, I am posting this shot from Malta.

I took this shot on 1st May, which was my birthday and a public holiday (you see how important I am here, haha. Actually it was Workers’ Day). We (my family and I) went to this beautiful hotel for lunch to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is right at the edge of a cliff (on the right – not shown) and overlooks this beautiful bay, very appropriately called Golden Bay. The hotel has an open-air restaurant at sea level and close to the water’s edge where we had lunch. I rarely come to this area as I prefer rocky beaches with less crowds to sandy ones so enjoy the view as it may be many months before I will come to this side of the Island again.

Tomorrow I will continue my narrative on our holiday.
