Tuscany holiday – day 4 - while I continue to sort out and process all the shots I took during the Independence festivities.
How would you like to live in a place like this? A fascinating place to visit but, in my opinion, a very difficult place to live in. And this is in the middle of Summer; imagine what it would be like in the middle of Winter.
This is the main street of Monteriggioni. So much character in the stonework (accentuated by the processing) but so deserted. It was still about 8.00pm when I took this shot and activity at Monteriggioni was at its minimum.
We had intended to dine here but prices were excessive.
Thank you very much for looking and for your wonderful comments and the fav’s on yesterday’s, picture.
Great textures but very bleak in its setting, I am in agreement with you about it being difficult to live there. It doesn't give you the comfort feeling!
Always difficult to tell from the outside. I`ve been grow up in an old house. What I remember the most, you always have repair works and the heating is terrible. But the looks outside of this building is beautiful. A great capture and nice processing.
Great view. These walls made of stone of these beautiful old houses remember to me the small village where I expend holidays since I was a child. Great capture.
Fantastic capture of this massive stonework building!!! You are right about what it would be like to live there!!! It does look like it would be cold and dark and dank!!! Love the red door!!!
