Tuscany – Day 7
You cannot go to Pisa without taking a traditional shot of the Cathedral and its world famous leaning tower. So this is my version.
A multitude of people were on the Campo dei Miracoli on the day we were there. It was very sunny and hot and the Italians had their Ferragosto (August is the time when business are closed for Italians to go on holiday). Everybody on the Campo was taking fun shots of friends or relatives in such a way as if they are trying to push the tower back into position. I took one of Max on his father’s shoulders doing like the rest. With all that support the tower will never topple over, haha.
Thank you so much for looking and for your wonderful comments and the fav’s on yesterday’s picture.

I wonder if this tower would be half as famous if it wasn't leaning. Great shot of the big picture and all the visitors.

Super rendition in mono, very sharp, fav! Looks just like it did when we were there! The police kept clearing people away, but as soon as they were gone, everyone went on the grass again!

Except for the clothes of the people, the shot is timeless. This angle really shows the lean of the tower too.

Great angle, love the way ther tower seems to be peering out from behind the cathedral. I like how your processing makes the shot look like a steel engraving.
