19th March was a public holiday and one of my nieces organised a picnic for the whole family – meaning us grandparents (me, my three brothers and my sister together with our spouses), our children and our children’s children. We met at Ta’ Qali family park thinking that we could take one or two tables and benches that are available there. Lucky we took chairs with us and my sister brought with her a table as the place was full of people. Notwithstanding, we had a great time together. Had not some of the children been missing we would have an extra eleven more mouths to feed.
Joke: Before we got married Christine said lovingly : 'When we get married, I want to share all your worries, troubles and lighten your burden.'
Me: 'It's very kind of you, darling, but I don't have any worries or troubles.'
Christine: 'Well that's because we aren't married yet.'
Thank you very much for looking and for the lovely comments on yesterday's picture. I had normal sunglasses on for the event and tried to look at the sun the latest possible before taking the shots.
