Resuming my holiday narrative. Shot taken on 28th June – third day of our vacation.
We took the road towards Stuttgart, quite a long way off, passing through several mountain passes covered with trees. It was Sunday and a beautiful sunny day (all the days of our holiday were sunny and very hot, too). Seems that all those who had a bike were out enjoying a ride. On many occasions they slowed us down as we could not overtake on the winding mountain roads. This is one shot I took from the car – btw Ian was the driver.
Joke: Joe was walking down the sidewalk one day when his friend, Pedro, rode up on an incredible shiny new bicycle.
Joe was stunned by his friend's sweet ride and asked, "WOW! Where did you get such a nice bike?"
Pedro replied, "Well, yesterday I was walking home, minding my own business, when a beautiful woman rode up to me on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, 'Take what you want!'"
Joe nodded approvingly, "Good choice. The clothes probably wouldn't have fit."
Many thanks for looking and for the nice comments on yesterday's picture.
ROFL!! Love the joke!! Nice shot of the curve!! I hate when we come up on bike riders, they make me so nervous cause I'm always afraid one of them bike waver or move over not realizing I'm there!! Where we live, bike riders are not allowed on main highways and I like that!! FAV!
It would be a bit frustrating to get stuck behind several clubs like this, but in some ways it makes you slow down and appreciate the day. Good catch with the lean!
