The royal family looks out of a window of Hohenzollern Castle. I had some fun playing round with this shot.
From left to right are: The next to the throne Prince Ian with his son Max on his arm; then comes the queen, Christine, and finally Princess Denise.
Actually they are my wife, daughter and son-in-law with my grandson. It was my wedding anniversary yesterday and tomorrow is Christine’s birthday. She is the queen of my heart even after all these years and this shot suits the events.
Joke: On their wedding day Prince Edward notices that Sophie is in pain.
When he asked her what was wrong, Sophie replied: “Well it's these shoes. I'm sure they sent me the wrong ones. They must be at least 2 sizes two small!"
"Never mind", he replies, "The reception will be over soon and we can head back to the room and take them off".
Sure enough, the reception draws to a close and after the guests have gone, Edward and Sophie make their way towards their bedroom, little knowing that they have been followed by the rest of the royal family, who press their ears against the door to get a good listen.
“You can take them off now” Prince Edward says.
