Shot taken on day 6 of our Black Forest vacation – 1st July 2015
I was lucky this particular day: first I saw the fox and now this stork. Besides I had seen some birds of prey souring in the sky and took shots of them but they were too far up to get a clear shot.
I took this shot while Ian was driving at around 85 kph and I had just one chance as we ‘flew’ past. I am glad I got it right.
Joke: Little Johnnie asked his mother how small babies came and she replied that little babies were delivered by a stork.
“So” asked Little Johnnie, after some thinking, “if the baby happens to be big, is it delivered by a crane?”
Thank you so much for looking and for all the lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
Great shot of the bird we call : `Ooievaar` The same delivery stories we did tell our kids in the past. Now they are well informed and won`t believe it any more.
( I live in a (small) city but often goes on a Sunday`s afternoon drive to and trough the country . Love it more as the big cities we sure have )
Good drive-by shot! Haha- that joke is something my older son would have said IF I had told him that story about babies being delivered by storks. I didn't though!
