One last shot from those taken on day 6 of our Black Forest vacation – 1st July 2015
This is how Schluchsee looks like after sunset. I took this shot at 21.20. In summer, at that hour, where I live people would be preparing to go out – or had just gone out. Here the streets were deserted.
Joke: A hunter is out in the woods at night looking for some prey. He sees a bear, lines up his sights, takes a shot, and misses. The bear sees the hunter and charges towards him. The hunter tries to take another shot, but finds he's out of ammo. He throws down the gun and starts running away, but he realizes that the bear is going to catch up to him.
The hunter falls to his knees and starts praying. He says, "Dear Lord, I ask that you let this bear find some religion before he does me in."
He turns around, and to his amazement he sees the bear on his knees, too. Then he hears the bear praying: "Dear Lord, for this food I am about to receive, I am truly grateful…"
Thank you so much for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
Love the cobbles and the lighting, super part of Germany. Great capture, Dione. Fav And thank you for your lovely comments on the flowers remembering those who died from the air crash. Much appreciated.
It's interesting how different regions go through a day. Things are pretty active around here until later in the evening. But where my sister lives in Vermont, everything shuts down around 9 pm. Pretty night shot!
