It was scorching hot not only in Colmar but throughout our holiday. Saw these people having some fun and cooling down in this fountain. If you look closely you will see a boy as if kicking the lady ‘in colour’. Our version in Malta – when it is hot - is going to swim in the sea which is never far away from where we are and is also for free.
Joke: The fountain wasn’t working at the time and the pool of water provided a perfect reflection to those who cared to look.
This couple were walking by and the wife stopped to look at herself in the reflection. She was not happy with what she saw and said to her husband, “I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly… I really need you to pay me a compliment.” The husband replied, “Your eyesight’s damn near perfect, darling.”

Fun catch! There is a fountain like this just around the corner from my son's house. The grandkids love going there in the summer when it's hot and playing with the water as it shoots up.
