Two more shots of him before Ian came to collect him. Billly is such a funny guy making all sorts of noises and very noisy, too. We don’t know his/her sex yet but with all his chattering it must be a female. At their home, Ian lets Billy out of his cage and fly around the house, very often landing on his head or of that of Denise (my daughter) or Max (their son). I didn’t let him out while he was with me because I was afraid something would happen to him.
Joke: A postal carrier is working on a new beat. He comes to a garden gate marked BEWARE OF THE PARROT! He looks down the garden and, sure enough, there's a parrot sitting on its perch. He has a little chuckle to himself at the sign and the parrot there on its perch. The mailman opens the gate and walks into the garden. He gets as far as the parrot's perch, when suddenly, it calls out: "REX, ATTACK!"
Many thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture and for making it possible for it to make it to pp and tp.
You may be in trouble over that comment, Dione, haha! I don't blame you for not letting him out at your house, it would be terrible if something happened. He, or she, is beautiful - great shots. :)
Don't know the first thing about parrots but Billy is definitely pretty! As someone once said to me - if women didn't speak so much how would children learn to talk?
He does look a nosey little parrot ! and a little beauty ! Wise of you not to let him out of his cage while in your custody !! I would also be afraid of something happening to him -- even if he only went out to call the dog !!
He / she looks very intelligent. Hubby has had some pet parrots, they were very noisy and quite demanding and I am pleased they are no longer around, dogs are much nicer pets :)
Thanks for you nice comment. I always try to as it add so much more to the pic.`s.
He / she looks great dione.
Thanks for all the very kind words on my portraits dione. very kind of you :)
Am sure he./she had fun visiting you
